Discipleship

Matthew 28:19-20 - V.19. Go therefore and make DISCIPLES of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, v20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. The commandment of our Lord Jesus is to preach the gospel and make DISCIPLES whoever obeys the truth to be baptized and TEACH them to observe all that HE commanded to do.

This passage (Mtt.28:19-20) often quoted for calling to serve the Lord, but sadly leaving behind the foundational truth it was preached and delivered to the congregation. Let us break this verse

1. Go!   -Great Commission 

2. Make Disciple  -Calling everyone to follow Christ

3. Baptize  -Believe and Obey

4. Teach     -Disciples are not just taught what to believe, but how to obey. 

In the Gospel of Mathew, Mark, Luke & John we see the Jesus Collecting men to be with Him and teach the word of God then presenting them as Disciple (Matthew 10:1-5)

So disciples are selected by Jesus Himself, later after the death and resurrection He gave same work to His disciples Preach and Make Disciples of all nation even unto the world.

Being a Disciple to a Master is equal to a Master, today Discipleship modules all about how to make disciples – by preaching good news of Jesus but the real discipleship life is totally avoided by church rule, regulations and spiritual rituals in a believers’ life.  The core truth of spiritual life is lying in disciplining ourselves in Christ like life that is called DISCIPLESHIP.

The wonderful thing about today church is that if some one believes Jesus is become a Christian – shocking truth is that Satan also believes that Jesus is the Lord even he bow at HIS feet.  One thing differ Satan and Human is obeying and following HIM. Obedient makes us God’s child.  This is what bible says John 1:12 ‘…received HIM’; John 3:16 ‘...whosoever believes on HIM,  will be saved.

To live a meaningful life we need to be a Disciple with a discipline spiritual life, therefore here are lessons which are 100% based on Holy Scripture. Each topics have its own post and videos. Accordingly follow the follow the lesson and kindly refer and read the scripture twice meditate and ask the Lord to Lead you in HIS way.
